BIRD TRIO | limited edition art print
To Eat And Build A Home:
Rainbow Bee Eater, Blue-banded Bee and Kangaroo Grass;
Eastern Spinebill and Fuschia Heath;
Regent Honeyeater, Ironbark and Orb Weaver.
This trio explores the diet and nesting habits of our unique Australian birds.
The Rainbow bee eater flies past in flash of brilliant colour, chasing tiny insects! The Kangaroo grass woven through the artwork is significant as it previously covered the east coast of Australia, and was used widely by First Nations People.
The Eastern Spinebill is one of my favourite tiny birds and is endemic to our East Coast. It's curved bill is perfectly shaped to sip the nectar from tubular flowers like the heath in this artwork.
The Regent honeyeater population has been swiftly decreasing over past years, and is a beauty well worth protecting.
Limited edition archival quality art print, hand signed and numbered*.
